When you love what you do, you thrive, you share, you learn more. I am trying to help women find what it is they love doing and help them get the tools to succeed.
We realize how important taking care of our mental health is and want to assist those impacted by depression and our Canadian military who struggle with PTSD. Improving quality of life and learning skills for those affected is essential for their future and independent living. And assisting those experiencing depression to realize being open about it is important to garnering support and healing.
Our vision is to help women find the tools and information be able to follow their dreams. What ever those dreams are.
Abbigail had a love for babies. All babies. She would snach a crying child from a parent and within moments had whispered that child into serenity. To honour this I reach out to the quilting and knitting communities for help to creat pieces in honour of Abbi so her arms will always comfort. These included isolate covers for our smallest fighters.
The people in our community want to help. We will work to help connect the people providing services with the people who need them. Come connect with people in new ways.
Every Sunday, after church, we mobilize our teams of volunteers to make a real difference. Join us and see what can be accomplished when you get an impassioned team to focus on change.
